About Valoron
Valoron is a deep-tech startup spun out of the TU Munich Chair of Energy Systems. We develop a thermochemical process that converts heterogeneous waste streams into renewable fuels and chemicals to directly substitute fossil energy sources, reducing CO₂ emissions by up to 90%, and matching fossil pricing. We won the TUM Academia Day Pitch Competition 2025, were selected as Breakthrough Energy Fellows, and are now joining Munich's leading deep-tech incubator program.
The Role
As Founders Associate, you will be part of our core team and work alongside the founders on our next steps from technology development and fundraising to general operations. You will take on real responsibilities from day one, gaining deep exposure to what it means to build a deep-tech company from early-stage research through to market entry.
Your Responsibilities
- Supporting the founding team in day-to-day operations
- Preparing presentations, pitch decks, and project plans
- Coordinating and tracking investor interactions
- Conducting research on technology and market topics
- Obtaining vendor quotations and supporting procurement
- Scheduling meetings and managing team calendars
- Contributing to technical and IT work depending on your background and interest
