Description

We are looking for a student that helps us developing subsystems for our future-proof
autonomous tractor. Tasks will mainly revolve around software systems and programming
of applications, possibly including communication systems, machine learning, computer
vision, augmented reality and positioning & navigation methods.


The number of working hours can be from 8 to 20 hours per week, arranged on workdays that fit the
student's schedule. The Chair of Agrimechatronics operates in Freising/Weihenstephan (Dürnast)
and Garching.

Requirements
  • Good skills in one or several of the following topics:
    • software development
    • communication technology
    • embedded systems
    • mechatronics
    • robotics
  • Good programming skills in one or several of the following languages:
    • Matlab
    • Simulink
    • C/C++
    • Python
  • Practical experience with agricultural machinery and farming is beneficial
