We are looking for a student that helps us developing subsystems for our future-proof
autonomous tractor. Tasks will mainly revolve around software systems and programming
of applications, possibly including communication systems, machine learning, computer
vision, augmented reality and positioning & navigation methods.
The number of working hours can be from 8 to 20 hours per week, arranged on workdays that fit the
student's schedule. The Chair of Agrimechatronics operates in Freising/Weihenstephan (Dürnast)
and Garching.- Requirements
- Good skills in one or several of the following topics:
- software development
- communication technology
- embedded systems
- mechatronics
- robotics
- Good programming skills in one or several of the following languages:
- Matlab
- Simulink
- C/C++
- Python
- Practical experience with agricultural machinery and farming is beneficial
