Beschreibung

We are seeking a motivated student assistant to support our lecture „Machine Learning in Engineering Mechanics“. Responsibilities include preparing lecture materials, developing and maintaining code examples and Jupyter notebooks, helping run exercise sessions, developing quizzes, and providing student support during exercise sessions. The role requires good Git and Python skills (NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow). Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly are essential.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain notebooks demonstrating machine learning approaches.
• Assist in preparing slides and exercise sheets.
• Develop practical examples from everyday project work.
• Support students during exercise sessions.

Voraussetzungen

• Proficient in Python, Git and machine learning libraries.
• Initiative, and a high level of motivation.
• You enjoy working in a team and are a good communicator.
• Availability ∼10 hours/week.
