Starting Point

For various research projects we are conducting machining experiments on our CNC milling machines. There we often acquire sensor data, which we then use to build predictive AI models which help us optimize manufacturing processes.

Task profile

Your task will vary between assisting in the preparation and execution of experiments, conducting data analysis, enhancing our data acquisition capabilities, training AI models, and in the labelling of data.

Voraussetzungen

Requirements

This position requires a willingness to learn how to operate CNC machines and how to program them. Furthermore, a high interest in Python programming is required for all data-related tasks.

The position is for 7.5 h/week. The hourly rate of the TUM is 15.41 € with a bachelor’s degree, 14 € without.
