Assistant Professorship for Sustainable Future Mobility 

Our group carries out research in the areas of novel concepts in aviation, propulsion, and Hyperloop technology as well as safety technology. We use the principles of technical thermodynamics as a focus in research supported by elements of fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer, acoustics, chemical reaction kinetics and systems dynamics. The Assistant Professorship of Sustainable Future Mobility aims to motivate students to develop modern technology for today and tomorrow.

Job Description

We are seeking a working student to set up a web server for a website using a combination of nginx and Apache. Additionally, an update of the existing website to give it a modern touch while using the old website as a template will have to be done.

Your Tasks

• Set up a web server using nginx for handling static content and Apache for dynamic content.
• Utilize the existing website as a template and enhance it with a modern design.
• Ensure the new website is functional, user-friendly, and visually appealing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the setup and update process.

Our Requirements

• Basic understanding of web server configuration, particularly nginx and Apache.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with website design principles and modern web development trends.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
