As a HiWi at the Chair of Agrimechatronics you will support research projects with tasks that focus on software systems and software development for automating agricultural machinery. The tasks may include for example diverse programming tasks, algorithm development, machine learning, and implementing interfaces to different software and sensor systems.
The position is initially limited to 6 months. The number of working hours can be from 7 to 20 hours per week, arranged on workdays that fit the student's schedule. The Chair of Agrimechatronics operates mainly in Freising/Weihenstephan (Dürnast). Partially remote work is possible.
- Voraussetzungen
Your qualifications
- Good skills in one or several of the following topics: software development, communication technology, embedded systems, mechatronics, robotics
- Good programming skills in one or several of the following languages: Matlab, Simulink, C/C++, Python
- Practical experience with agricultural machinery and farming is beneficial
- Fluent language skills in written and spoken English
