Description

The Chair of Ergonomics is currently seeking a student assistant to support research and data analysis in the interdisciplinary project ForNeRo (https://fornero.ed.tum.de/). The project aims to develop new methods and technologies to measure and improve the ergonomic integration of robotic systems in medical environments. We are looking for independent and motivated students who are eager to contribute meaningfully to research initiatives. Contractual hours can be chosen flexibly between 12 and 20 hours per week, with work split between Garching and the TUM Klinikum.

The position starts from 01.03.25 can last until 31.08.25. 

Requirements

Your Tasks

  • Support pre-clinical studies at TUM Universitätsklinikum Rechts der Isar
  • Learn and operate our infrared-based recording system to record 3D motion data
  • Post-process and analyze recorded data building on an existing worklflow

Your Profile

  • Enrollment at TUM
  • High level of self-organization and reliability
  • Good command of English
  • Experience with data management and processing, as well as study support
  • Experience with camera-based tracking systems, medical robotics, statistical analysis, and German language skills are desirable but not strictly required
