The newly founded Robotics Institute Germany (RIG) is on a mission to position Germany as a global leader in AI-driven robotics research and innovation.
As part of this initiative, the TUM Chairs of Autonomous Vehicle Systems and Perception for Intelligent Systems are seeking a motivated Research Assistant (HiWi) to help analyze and shape the future of robotics education in Germany.
Your Tasks
You will play a key role in extracting insights from a survey on AI-based robotics education in German Universities.
Your tasks will include:
- Help analyze the results of a recent survey on the robotics education landscape in Germany
- Data visualization, plotting, and statistical analysis
- Extract meaningful metrics and generate clear visual summaries
- Contribute to a written report on key findings, trends, and recommendations
- Help shape conclusions on the current and future direction of robotics education in Germany
- Requirements
Requirements
- Independent, organized, and proactive working style
- Experience with data analysis and visualization (e.g., Python, Matlab)
- Basics of statistics and data interpretation
- Good English writing skills
- Curious, open-minded team player

Practical Information
The position can be started immediately.
The work is 8,5 hours per week, for two months.
