Student worker wanted for C/C++ programming (English).
The Chair of Agrimechatronics has a new concept idea for an electronic control unit (ECU) for agricultural machines and is in the early stages of prototyping. Therefore, we are searching for a student worker for programming work using C/C++ and CAN bus. The chair works in the agricultural equipment domain and works with tractor electronics and automation.
Project: The project will be to help build a prototype by programming an ECU. This involves setting up the architecture as well as producing code. You will have the unique opportunity to be part of a project from its inception and play a pivotal role in shaping the prototype with your knowledge and expertise, making a significant impact.
- Requirements
You would be a good fit if:
- You speak English (German not necessary)
- You have experience in programming (any language)
- You have strong problem-solving skills
- You are able to work independently and as part of a team
- You are willing to learn new technologies and skills
- You have some Linux experience
You will learn on the job:
- CAN bus communication
- Knowledge of computer networks and communication protocols
- Version control systems (e.g. Git and Gitlab)
