Context:

At the Chair of Medical Materials and Implants (MMI) at the Technical University of Munich, we focus on developing innovative medical materials and implants, particularly for the cardiovascular system.

 

Responsibilities:

As a HiWi you would:

•support PhD students in the research projects and with performing experiments in the lab.

•support with performing analytical assays to characterize medical implants.

•support with the fabrication of scaffolds for heart valves and vascular grafts.

•support with the sample preparation for biological experiments and imaging.

•support with the improvement of different machine and bioreactor setups as well as evaluation methods.

 

Voraussetzungen

•Lab experience preferable but not a must.

•Possibility of working as Hiwi for more than one semester preferable.

•Enthusiasm for working in the field of biomedical engineering.

•Independent, reliable and structured way of working.

•Good command of the German and/or English language.
