Beschreibung

Also possible as IDP, research internship (Forschungspraxis), guided research, etc.

This research investigates the potential of large language models (LLMs) in enabling personalized navigation applications for blind and visually impaired individuals. The project will involve integrating an LLM with a real-time navigation system to provide conversational and context-aware guidance. Users will receive detailed instructions tailored to their preferences and current surroundings, enabling safer and more confident mobility.

The research will focus on optimizing the interaction between LLMs and navigation systems, ensuring low latency, validating the system's usability through user testing with blind individuals, and building a navigation system that addresses the specific needs of blind people.

This research is conducted in collaboration with the Startup SmartAIs
